The 60s Explosion Show returns to Lion’s Park on Wednesday, August 13, bringing a full evening of music from one of the most iconic decades in American history. This performance is part of the Plainfield Recreation Department’s summer Concerts in the Park series, now in its August stretch of live outdoor shows held weekly at the park.
Known for their tight vocals, stage chemistry, and spot-on renditions of ‘60s favorites, the 60s Explosion Show delivers a performance that resonates across generations. The band covers hits from Motown to British Invasion to classic American rock, all brought to life with care and authenticity.
These concerts are free and open to the public. They offer a place for families, longtime residents, and visitors to enjoy quality live music in a welcoming setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to find a good spot. Music begins at 6:00 PM and wraps by 7:30 PM.
