The Plainfield Democratic Town Committee is the official local arm of the Connecticut Democratic Party, serving residents across the four villages of Central Village, Moosup, Plainfield, and Wauregan. We run voter registration efforts, support campaigns, and hold meetings where residents can speak directly with candidates.

SMART Technology Systems has applied to the state to build a waste-to-energy gasification plant off Routes 12 and 14. Plainfield Trash Facts is an independent, resident-run site that tracks the proposal against the public record. It is not run by the Plainfield Democratic Town Committee.
