DESCRIPTION:The 64th Annual VJ Day Parade will take place in Moosup\, Connecticut on Sunday\, August 10\, 2025\, with step-off scheduled for 1:01 PM. This longstanding event honors those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and continues to be an important tradition in eastern Connecticut. \nThis year’s parade is held in remembrance of Arthur “Archie” Lapierre\, a United States Army veteran and lifelong member of American Legion Post 91.
